Important note:

Going up the Senegal River requires us to pass through two structures: the lock on the Diama dam, and the temporary bridge at Rosso, a movable element of which has been designed for the Bou. If technical problems were to block these structures, we would be obliged to modify the cruise schedule. At the Diama lock, the boat would stay upstream, and the visit to Saint-Louis would be made by vehicle. The boat would go on to Donaye, an earthen village just beyond Podor. At the Rosso temporary bridge, we would leave the boat upstream of Rosso, and visit Djoudj and Saint-Louis by vehicle. The boat would go further than Podor to compensate for the eliminated navigation (this bridge should be dismantled by the end of 2026).
